EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Hillpet Construction Management is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our earthworks and excavation projects, ensuring all work is performed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with site and safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate excavators and related heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of equipment. Excavate foundations, trenches, and other areas per project specifications. Load, move, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials. Follow site plans, blueprints, and supervisor instructions precisely. Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other team members to meet project deadlines. Comply with all health and safety regulations on-site.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' proven experience operating excavators on construction sites. Relevant operating license/certification for excavators (required). Grade 10 or higher (Grade 12 advantageous). Solid understanding of site layouts, grades, and blueprint reading. Strong awareness of safety procedures and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions. Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
