Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Freelance Invigilator to oversee examinations and ensure the integrity of the exam process. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring candidates, enforcing examination rules, and maintaining a calm and controlled environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare the examination room, ensuring that seating arrangements and materials are properly set up.Verify candidate identity and assist with the registration process.Distribute exam papers and materials according to standard procedures.Monitor candidates throughout the examination, ensuring compliance with regulations.Address any irregularities, such as cheating or disruptions, in line with exam guidelines.Collect and secure completed examination scripts.Complete necessary paperwork and provide feedback on the examination process.Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of integrity.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; further education is an advantage.Previous experience as an invigilator or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.Good communication and interpersonal abilities.Punctual, professional, and able to work independently.Available for flexible working hours, including weekdays and weekends.Must reside in Johannesburg or be willing to travel within the area.
