Leonardslee Family Vineyards is part of the prestigious Leonardslee Gardens and Wine Estate family, renowned for luxury hospitality and exceptional wine experiences. We're seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented intern to join our dynamic events and marketing team in our Bellville office.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about events, wine tourism, and digital marketing to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment. You'll work across multiple facets of our business, from planning memorable experiences to building our brand presence online.

Key Responsibilities

Event Support

Assist with planning and logistics for workshops, tastings, and wine estate experiences Liaise with suppliers and staff to ensure events run seamlessly Support ticketing management, guest list coordination, and feedback collection Contribute to post-event reporting and analysis

Marketing & Communications

Assist with website updates and building engaging event pages Ensure social media channels, listing sites, and partner platforms accurately represent our brand Support the marketing team in creating compelling, on-brand copy for various channels Help maintain consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints

Administration & Research

Conduct market research to identify wine tourism trends and opportunities Maintain marketing databases and materials Monitor analytics for campaigns and events to measure success Provide administrative support and assist with ad hoc duties as required

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Events Management, Hospitality, or related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new digital platforms Interest in wine, hospitality, and luxury experiences Proactive, creative thinker who can work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
