Estimator / Sales Engineer
Job Description
What You'll Do:Engage customers, understand their needs, and deliver accurate, timely quotes and estimates.Convert technical requirements into clear, actionable orders using CAD (2D & 3D).Manage and grow your customer base building strong relationships that last.Track and monitor your orders from inquiry through to delivery, ensuring exceptional service.Work with internal teams to ensure efficient execution and high client satisfaction.Resolve challenges with a solutions-first mindset you're the customer's trusted partner.What Youll Need:Experience in steel, laser cutting, or CNC manufacturing (essential).Technical background and working knowledge of CAD (2D/3D).National Diploma in engineering or related field (advantageous).Solid Excel and computer skills.A valid Code 8 driver's license.Outstanding organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.Who Are You:A strong communicator and active listener who can negotiate and close.Trustworthy, professional, and customer-obsessed.Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and cool under pressure.A team player who's just as comfortable working independently.Motivated by meeting sales goals and supporting team success.
