Job Description
Job Summary Our Client is seeking an Estimator to accurately prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for roller shutter doors, sectional doors, and related access control systems. The role ensures that all quotations are competitive, profitable, and aligned with company standards while supporting the sales team with technical and pricing expertise Profile .Review client enquiries, drawings, and site details to prepare accurate estimates .Calculate material, labour, and subcontractor costs .Prepare and submit professional quotations and tenders .Recommend suitable products and solutions for each project .Liaise with suppliers for pricing and lead times .Support sales and operations through project handovers .Maintain quote records and update cost databases .Track conversion rates and monitor pricing trends Requirements .Matric (Grade 12) essential; technical/engineering qualification an advantage .3+ years' experience in estimating, costing, or technical sales (doors, construction, or metalwork preferred) .Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems .Able to read and interpret technical drawings .Strong numerical and analytical ability .Detail-focused and accurate .Excellent communication and teamwork .Commercially aware and deadline-driven .Proactive problem-solver Kindly note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and all background checks will be conducted.
