Job Summary Our client, a Global Leader in the electromechanical equipment space is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a seasoned executive to take on the role of Engineering Projects CEO to be based in the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg, Gauteng South Africa, PLEASE NOTE : Our client is responsible for Power Systems, Signalling, Contracting, Industry, Internal Energy and Koeberg Reporting lines. MAIN PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE : To report directly into the Group Chief Executive Officer with General Managers of the manufacturing, service, repairs, maintenance, projects and distribution divisions along with shared services like SHEQ and HR will report to the successful applicant. To Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Permanent Establishment requirements in those foreign territories as well as the localization requirements in each country. KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS : At Minimum a BSc Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent A verifiable track record of managing a business for approximately 10 years. Preference could be given to Electrical technical qualification. Expert understanding of contracting accounting finance and business management Experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction space and a workable knowledge of the basic suits of Contract Conditions such as FIDIC, NEC etc. Strong knowledge of Labour, IR and Safety Legislation. Strong knowledge of financial, technical, and economic concepts Must be energetic with an ability to maintain and grow market share. Excellent interpersonal skills and proven leaderships skills. Project management skills. KEY ROLES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Demonstrate a high and unbiased focus on transformation management, not only as a business need but as an economic imperative. Be the chief steward of the SA Division, ensuring the company is well positioned in the marketplace. Demonstrate responsibility of the profits and losses of the company including the optimum management of the balance sheet (working capital, cash flow and income statement). This requires a high business acumen with full responsibility for all aspects of the business. Demonstrate responsibility over the profitability of the company against Annual budget. Creating a positive culture in the SA Division. Develop and nurture new and existing customers, partnerships, strategic alliances, and other market opportunities. Development, review and refinement of the SA Divisions business strategy, and execution of that strategy to obtain a leading position in the marketplace, Enforcing adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the companys legality and business ethic. Enhance the performance of the company through export driven sales with the objective of improving the footprint in those countries. A requirement to work closely with the companys international partners in and retain current international customers. Ensure revenue growth is achieved in a responsible and profitable manner; both organically and otherwise. Ensure, continuous engineering research and development to produce world class solutions that meets specification and surpasses the expectations of the customer. Leading the development of the companys short and long-term strategy, ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc. Motivate a high performance, innovative and results-driven organization. Apply Now!
