Introduction: A leading private hospital in Cape Town is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to join their Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Paediatric High Care Unit. This role is ideal for a nurse with a passion for paediatrics, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, patient-centred nursing care to critically ill infants and children in the PICU and High Care units.
• Monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and nursing records.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control procedures.

Requirements:

• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse (EN).
• Minimum of 12 years experience in a paediatric environment, preferably within ICU or High Care.
• Experience working in a private hospital environment will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of paediatric clinical procedures and emergency protocols.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
