Job Description

We are seeking a

dedicated and patient tutor

to provide in-home academic support to a

Grade 8 learner

. The tutor will assist with understanding schoolwork, completing assignments, exam preparation, and building confidence across multiple subjects.

Subjects to be Tutored (Grade 8):

English (Home Language) Mathematics Natural Science

Key Responsibilities:

Provide structured tutoring aligned with the school curriculum Assist with homework, projects, and test preparation Explain concepts clearly and patiently Track progress and provide feedback to the parent/guardian Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment

Requirements:

Completed Grade 12 with 75% minimum for above subjects IEB is advantageous Degree is advantageous Experience tutoring Grade 8 learners or similar level Strong understanding of the listed subjects Reliable, punctual, and responsible Resides close to the client's area (preferred) Own car or reliable transportation (preferred)

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

Teaching or education background Ability to simplify complex concepts Friendly, motivating, and child-focused approach

Remuneration:

To be discussed and agreed upon based on experience
