Grace Academy is excited to announce the opening of our new branch, and we are looking for a dynamic team of dedicated educators to build something extraordinary from the ground up. We offer a unique and rewarding teaching environment that spans the General Education and Training (GET) phase and our transformative Second Chance Matric Programme (SCMP).

The Role:

As a foundational teacher at our new branch, you will be responsible for delivering excellent, CAPS-aligned education. Your role is unique in that you will have the opportunity to shape young minds in the GET phase while also playing a pivotal role in changing the lives of Second Chance Matric students. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to creating a supportive and high-achieving school culture.

Key Responsibilities for All Positions:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for your specialized subjects. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Contribute to the development and success of the new branch as a member of our pioneering team.

Who We Are Looking For:

A qualified educator with a relevant degree and SACE registration. Proven ability and passion for teaching the subjects listed for your desired post. A commitment to the ethos of a "second chance" and the ability to mentor and motivate SCMP students. Flexibility, resilience, and the enthusiasm to be part of a new and growing school. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A team player who is eager to collaborate and build systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- B.Ed. or PGCE with relevant subject specialisation

- SACE Registered (or proof of registration)

- 1-2 years of high school teaching experience.

- Strong CAPS curriculum knowledge.

- Excellent communication & classroom management.

- Passion for learner success and discipline.
