Job Description
Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering solutions company, focuses on steel fabrication for the Oil & Gas/Off-Shore Mining sector, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced Project Planner, with solid background in construction projects in the mining, renewable energy and oil & gas sector, to join their dynamic and progressive technical
Please note that this is a mid- to senior level role, with experience in steel fabrication and structural construction, specifically in the mining, oil & gas and structural construction sector
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
- You will have a Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) qualification, coupled with 3-5 years experience in a similar role, specifically planning large scale steel construction and installation projects using Primavera P6 and MS Projects
- You will have a proven background in the fabrication and installation sector, as well as strong background in the management of a team to ensure effective planning across the plant and client sites.
- You will have experience in highlighting critical paths, tracking baseline vs actual on various schedules and ensure that all issues are are dealt with promptly.
- You must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
