Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering solutions company, focuses on steel fabrication for the Oil & Gas/Off-Shore Mining sector, seeks to employ a qualified Junior Project Planner, with a background in engineering fabrication and structural steel construction projects in the mining, renewable energy and oil & gas sector, to join their dynamic and progressive technical
Please note that this is a junior to mid-career level role, with experience in steel fabrication and structural construction, specifically in the mining, oil & gas and structural construction sector using Primavera P6 and MS Projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
- You will have an Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) qualification, coupled with 2-3 years experience in a similar role, specifically planning large scale steel construction and installation projects using Primavera P6 and MS Projects
- You will have a proven background in the fabrication and installation sector, as well as strong background in the management of a team to ensure effective planning across the plant and client sites.
- You will have experience in highlighting critical paths, tracking baseline vs actual on various schedules and ensure that all issues are are dealt with promptly.
- You must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
