As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral part of a talented team in maintaining and governing Atlassian technologies. And will actively be involved in the implementation of solutions that support our knowledge management strategy.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for ensuring the availability, optimal overall performance, and usability of the Atlassian systems.
  • Provide a service to internal business users, ensuring that the Atlassian services always remains both functional and available, through proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems related to the platforms and applications.
  • Prompt issue resolution with Confluence in coordination with other admins, partner teams and Atlassian premier support
  • Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian products (Confluence)
  • Become the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Atlassian technologies, including but not limited to plugins administration, installations, upgrades, migrations, integration, user and permissions management.
  • Engage with user community to understand how they are using Confluence and generate documentation and provide training to ensure global teams are using platforms effectively.
  • Collaborate with business partners, external vendors, and the extended IT team to gather requirements for new implementations and craft and deliver solutions
  • Assist with consolidation of instances (as necessary / if required)
  • Build scripts, as needed, to improve operational processes and procedures.
  • Actively participate in any assigned tasks and/or projects relating to the technology and meet agreed timeframes
  • Provide advice and assistance to users to resolve basic queries and ensure the applications capabilities are well understood by the business
  • Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs
  • Devise, test, and deploy integrations between Atlassian products and other internal toolchains

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Related experience with a Bachelorxe2x80x99s or equivalent degree
  • Relevant Confluence experience or equivalent certification is required
  • Relevant DevOps certifications will be beneficial
  • Agile related certifications preferable.
Required Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator/Engineer
  • 3+ administering and supporting Confluence.
  • Experience integrating Confluence with third-party tools and plugins
  • Experience with Linux or other Unix system administration.benefical
  • Understand basic database administration and competency in writing SQL queries, preferably Postgres database
