In the aviation space we are looking for a young designer/engineer specializing in aviation. Specifically geometric design and drainage related to airfields, aprons, taxiways, runways, and associated elements. Duties/Responsibilities Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer. Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures. Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests. Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered. xe2x80xa2 Identifies discrepancies in results. xe2x80xa2 Provides guidance to entry level engineers. xe2x80xa2 Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision. Technical Excellence: xe2x80xa2 Develops design by gathering, correlating, and analysing engineering data using computer software and established procedures and standards xe2x80xa2 When possible, collects and analyses information from discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models xe2x80xa2 Fully develops the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality outputs by following project timelines xe2x80xa2 Participates in the interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables, including BIM spatial reviews (virtual walkthroughs and clash detection xe2x80xa2 Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, specifications, sketches, diagrams, specific discipline BIM models, drawings, reports and tender documents. Identifies discrepancies in results and proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered xe2x80xa2 Performs work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision xe2x80xa2 Coordinates with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the design process's continuity xe2x80xa2 Maintains and develops the highest level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams for accuracy to design instructions. Coordinates with authorities for scheme approvals. Requirements BEng/BSc (Civil Engineering/Transportation) or equivalent Over 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the role of a design engineer within the built environment Experience in Airfield/Aviation Civil Engineering Design is an absolute requirement Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Ability to commute/relocate:
