Engine Service And Repair Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Engine Service and Repair Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various types of engines.
This includes diagnosing issues, replacing or repairing defective parts, and conducting routine maintenance work to ensure optimal efficiency.
Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of engine mechanics and solid troubleshooting skills.
Ultimately, the technician's role is to ensure that our customers' engines are in excellent working condition and meet all safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
Inspect and diagnose engine issues and malfunctions
Perform maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and replacing filters
Repair or replace defective engine parts
Conduct routine maintenance work aiming for vehicle functionality and longevity
Keep logs of work and report on issues
Adhere to safety and environmental regulations
Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained and kept in good working order
Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
Proven work experience as an Engine Service and Repair Technician
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of engines
Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
Excellent physical condition
Qualification in petrol and/or diesel mechanic preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R8000,00 - R10000,00 per month
