Job Description

Established Cape Town based Engine Rebuilding company seeks the services of an fully qualified and experienced Engine Fitter/assembler for both diesel and petrol driven engines.

Suitable candidates will be responsible for the removing,stripping,measurement of engine components,fault finding and cause of failures,drawing up of parts list and engineering requirements,full assembly of engines including measuring bearing oil clearances,ring gaps,piston to bore clearances,fitting of cam bearings,piston protrusions,valve and diesel pump timing settings ,test run engines and installation including diagnostics.This is an inhouse position but successfull candidates must be willing to work off-site and after hours overtime in emergencies.Must have a valid drivers license and own set of workshop tools.

Previous Experience in a similar environment compulsary.We offer negotiable market related salaries with Motor industry benefits.
