We are recruiting an
Energy Specialist
to support energy planning and implementation activities under an ISO 50001 framework. The role focuses onSignificant Energy Use (SEU) analysis
, action plan development, and staff engagement.Key Responsibilities
Conduct walkthrough assessments and identify SEUs. Develop energy performance indicators (EnPIs) and baselines. Facilitate operator training and awareness campaigns. Contribute to action plans and report on implemented measures. Support documentation for ISO 50001 readiness.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
(or equivalent). ISO 50001 Implementation Training (NCPC-SA/UNIDO). Minimum3-5 years' experience
in industrial energy systems (motors, compressed air, pumps, boilers, furnaces).Preferred Attributes
Experience in SEU analysis within heavy industry. Track record of contributing to projects achieving measurable energy reductions. Strong communication and training skills.
