An exciting opportunity has become available for an EB consultant to join our Pretoria Team.

Key Requirements:

Appropriate Degree or Insurance qualification Five years of previous experience as a Consultant in the Employee Benefits Industry Above-average technical knowledge of the industry

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO :

Represent the company as the Fund Consultant at Trustee and Management Committee meetings. Secretarial services at Trustee and Management Committee meetings. Monitor and establish regular meetings with clients at the Trustee, Administrative, and Employer levels. Act as the employer's liaison to a fund at all Employer meetings. Prioritize and respond to client queries promptly. Develop excellent working relationships with participating employers. Ensure that Rules, Policies, and Contracts accurately reflect intentions and are kept up to date. Ensure actuarial valuations (or exemptions therefrom) are conducted and submitted to clients and authorities. Monitor and prepare documents for fund transfers in accordance with relevant regulations. Collaborate with the Actuary and the Administrator on fund terminations, ensuring all formalities are completed effectively. Ensure Benefit Statements conform to clients' needs and are issued promptly by the Administrator. Foster successful working relationships between service providers. Ensure retirement, disability, and death benefits are paid promptly and assist the Administrator in obtaining related documentation when necessary. Ensure all formalities are properly carried out by the Actuary, Administrator, and Legal division in acquiring new business and related tasks. Provide regular reports to Management as requested by the Company and its clients. Follow up on tasks delegated to clients, service providers, and the Company, ensuring timely and proper completion. Attend to annual rebroke of Risk Fee reviews. Attend to the implementation of new business
