Email Deliverability & Inboxing Specialist

Are you an expert at making sure emails land in inboxes -- not spam folders? We're looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Email Deliverability & Inboxing Specialist to take full ownership of our deliverability strategy and performance. You'll blend technical precision with marketing insight to maximize inbox placement and engagement across all campaigns.

What You'll Own:

End-to-end responsibility for improving company-wide email inboxing rates and sender reputation. Run and interpret deliverability tests to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues quickly. Optimize campaign elements -- subject lines, content, CTAs -- to enhance engagement and deliverability. Monitor and analyze key metrics (bounce rates, spam complaints, open/click rates), taking action to improve performance. Maintain list hygiene and ensure full compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other anti-spam regulations. Configure, audit, and optimize email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Collaborate with ESPs and ISPs to maintain strong sender reputations and resolve deliverability issues. Use basic HTML/CSS to troubleshoot and enhance email templates and integrations. Advise marketing and sales teams on best practices -- segmentation, send timing, and copy optimization.

What You Bring:

Proven experience managing and improving email deliverability and sender reputation. Deep technical knowledge of email infrastructure, authentication, and filtering systems. Proficiency with major ESP platforms, inbox placement testing tools, and reputation monitoring. Comfort working with APIs and using basic coding (HTML/CSS) for email templates. Analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and marketing teams. Copywriting awareness -- able to suggest impactful changes that boost engagement and deliverability.
