Electronics Technician (Industrial Electronics)
We are looking for a skilled and solutions-driven Electronics Technician to join our technical team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electronic equipment, including VSDs and PC boards.

Location: Port Elizabeth
Salary: R10 000 R35 000 per month (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair industrial electronic equipment, including VSDs, PC boards and control panels
• Conduct on-site diagnostics and resolve customer-reported technical issues
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and adjustments
• Provide technical guidance and training to clients
• Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve faults
• Document service tasks, including parts used and further recommendations
• Liaise with internal teams and customers to ensure service excellence
• Stay informed on industry developments and new technologies

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in industrial electronics
• Proven experience repairing VSDs and PC boards
• Technical knowledge of industrial electronic systems and control panels
• Ability to work independently under pressure
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel
• Computer literate and familiar with diagnostic tools
• N4 or N5 in electronics or electrical, or a relevant qualification
• Knowledge of industrial safety protocols is advantageous

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede

• Installeer, herstel en onderhou industriele elektroniese toerusting, insluitend VSDs, PC-borde en beheerpanele
• Diagnoseer en los tegniese probleme op tydens klientebesoeke
• Voer voorkomende instandhouding en inspeksies uit
• Bied tegniese ondersteuning en opleiding aan kliente oor die gebruik van toerusting
• Gebruik diagnostiese sagteware en toerusting vir foutopsporing
• Hou rekord van herstelwerk en aanbevelings
• Kommunikeer effektief met kliente en interne spanne
• Bly op hoogte van tegnologiese ontwikkeling in die industrie

Posvereistes

• Minimum 6 maande ondervinding in industriele elektronika
• Ervaring in die herstel van VSDs en PC-borde is noodsaaklik
• Tegniese kennis van motorbeheer, beheerpanele en elektroniese stelsels
• Moet selfstandig en onder druk kan werk
• Geldige bestuurslisensie en bereidheid om te reis
• Rekenaarvaardigheid en kennis van diagnostiese gereedskap
• N4 of N5 in elektronika of elektries, of n relevante kwalifikasie
• Kennis van veiligheidsprotokolle is voordelig
