Computer Electronics Technician - Jhb NorthJob SummaryKey ResponsibilitiesConfigure, test, update, and repair computers, PC boards, and motherboards.Format and reinstall software on computers.Conduct regular preventive maintenance and diagnostic tests on computer systems.Ensure proper maintenance of systems and maintain software backups.Provide technical support to computer users, resolving issues promptly upon request.Diagnose and repair common hardware issues, such as loose connections or defective components.Review manufacturers' specifications to troubleshoot and locate problems effectively.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely and accurate configuration, testing, updating, and repair of computers and components.Efficient reinstallation and maintenance of software.Skills and CompetenciesStrong ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Effective problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.Self-motivated and proactive in completing tasks.Education and Experience RequirementsMatric certificate or equivalent qualification.N5/N6 in Electronics or an equivalent certification.A minimum of one year of related technical training or experience.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
