Job Description
A leading steel manufacturing company is offering a great career opportunity to a recent Electronic engineering graduate to be trained in PLC programming.
Description
- Receive training in the design, program and configuration of PLC systems for automation equipment
- Debug, test and validate control logic
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers
- Analyse and optimise existing control logic to improve efficiency, accuracy and system reliability
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and system updates to prevent unplanned outages
- Manage system backups, maintain version control, and implement safety interlocks to safeguard against system failures
- Create comprehensive documentation, including wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and I/O configurations, to support ongoing system management and troubleshooting
- Only BSc / BEng Electronic Engineering degrees will be shortlisted
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work under extreme pressure
- Computer skills
