Electronic Engineer
Job Description
This opportunity is for a software engineer to join a specialized company that focuses on remote monitoring systems and power solutions. The company offers design, engineering, and commissioning services to the telecommunications industry in Africa and Asia. If you possess proficient Python skills, expertise in PCB design, the ability to diagnose and rectify code issues, and are capable of developing and upkeeping a codebase, we invite you to consider this position. The ideal candidate would also be situated in or near Somerset West.
Education:
- BEng Electronic or Mechatronic Degree
- Take ownership of subcomponents in our python software product codebase
- Develop and maintain codebase.
- Debug code and apply fixes.
- Implement new features in code.
- Assist team members with new features.
- Collaborate with team members to do parallel development on codebase.
- Maintain code on our corporate GitHub.
- Create documentation on code.
- Integrate real world equipment such as generators, rectifiers, inverters solar controllers etc. into our product offering.
- Interact with real equipment to test code.
