Electrical Systems Engineer
Job Description
Requirements:
B.Eng. or BSc Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic engineering
Ideally have some working experience - 3-5 Years engineering experience
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Would prefer Experience in medium/heavy duty commercial system development process i.e., vehicle architecture, specifications, performance requirements, simulation, selecting components, integration, build, and validation.
Proven experience in coordinating and supporting validation activities and creating technical reports.
Project management / System Engineering aptitude
Willing to travel overseas for variable periods.
South African Citizenship
Vehicle system interests :
Candidates must have an interest in-vehicle system such as
LV Architecture, 3D Routing, 2D Harness drawings and Schematics.
HV Architecture
Power Electronics
Vehicle communication network
Responsibilities:
Develop industry-leading solutions for areas of technical responsibility.
Engage with suppliers.
Interact with engineering development teams.
Support vehicle builds, testing, and validation
Other responsibilities :
The successful person will act as a project engineers/ System Engineers
Coordination of customer site activities, e.g., customer meetings, vehicle builds, and validation.
