Electrical Supervisor

Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa

Our client, an Automation company is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for their team in Port Elizabeth.

Minimum requirement

Matric or N3.
Experience in the automotive industry with a strong emphasis on industrial Automation.
Tertiary qualification in electrical (trade test) with wiremanxe2x80x99s license.
Min of 3 xe2x80x93 5 years of supervisory and management experience.
Knowledge of quality control plans.
Knowledge of E-Plan designs.
Knowledge of OHSA act.
Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License Code 08.
Own transport is essential.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home.

Responsibilities

Formulating production program, control, and planning.
Achieving targets and ensuring that budgeting guidelines are met.
Scheduling work throughout the plant and site.
Managing general multi-projects.
Liaising with contract managers daily on updates on the projects.
Liaising with clients.
Ordering of raw materials/components for plant equipment and labour utilization.
Set delivery schedules.
Management of the mechanical engineering team.
Adherence to Health and Safety requirements.
Adherence to ISO standards.
Adherence to any other instruction as given by the mechanical contracts manager.
