Electrical Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
Our client within the commercial construction industry is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor, specifically with electrical exposure. Candidates should also have a completed matric, a National Diploma or BTech in Quantity Surveying. Alternatively, a BSc in Quantity Surveying would be preferential. Proven experience with electrical installations or services packages is essential
Candidates MUST have experience in electrical-related construction projects.
This includes the ability to:
- Measure electrical-related drawings
- Submit accurate electrical-related claims
- Process electrical subcontractor claims
- Experience in CCS (Candy) and BuildSmart is a strong advantage
- Advanced measurement and valuation skills, especially in electrical packages.
- Contractual knowledge (JBCC & others)
- Strong CCS and BuildSmart proficiency
- Analytical and detail-focused
- Leadership and mentoring abilities
- Confident communication and negotiation
- Team-oriented and results-driven
