Registration as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech would be highly advantageous. You should have at least 8 years' consulting engineering experience specifically within the building services environment. Experience in MV design is essential, while SAQCC registration for Design would be a bonus. Proficiency in Revit and BIM tools such as Navisworks, Glue, and Field is preferred. You should be well-versed in relevant SANS standards (such as 10142-1&2, 10139, 10114) and familiar with standard building contracts like JBCC, Fidic, NEC, and PROCSA. Strong technical skills using AutoCAD, electrical software such as Relux, Dialux, ABB Web Design, EcoStructurel, or Amtech, and high proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are essential. To thrive in this role, you must be independent, detail-focused, and capable of managing your time effectively while delivering quality designs.
