Senior Electrical Engineer (Western Cape, Stellenbosch)

Compensation: R 800 000,00 - R 1 400 000,00 depending on experience

Working model: Hybrid

Our client, an engineering solution provider is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer passionate about innovative design solutions in building services, to contribute expertise and leadership to their dynamic projects.

Why should you apply? As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading their projects, leading the electrical design process from concept to completion. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, fire engineers and clients, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality designs for various building projects.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical design aspects for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
• Develop detailed electrical plans, specifications, and calculations.
• Conduct thorough assessments and analyses to optimize electrical systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• This position is for the lead electrical engineer and team leader.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address project requirements and provide innovative solutions.
• This role will entail within African countries.

Our required expertise:

• B.Eng, B.Tech or N.Dip in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design for building services, with a focus on commercial, hospitality and institutional projects.
• Professional Engineer Registration license is highly desirable.
• Consulting experience is essential.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, SANS standards, and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
