JOB TITLE:

Electrical Engineer (Registered with SACPCMP)

We are seeking a skilled and qualified

Electrical Engineer

who is registered with the

South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP)

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage electrical systems for construction and infrastructure projects. Prepare and evaluate technical drawings, specifications, and reports. Ensure projects comply with legal and safety requirements, including SANS and SACPCMP standards. Conduct site inspections and provide technical support to contractors and project teams. Manage and coordinate electrical project timelines and budgets. Prepare tender documentation and conduct evaluations. Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians. Ensure quality control and testing of systems before commissioning.

Minimum Requirements

BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical Engineering.

Professional registration with SACPCMP

(Pr CPM or equivalent). 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering in construction or infrastructure. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software. Sound knowledge of electrical systems, SANS regulations, and construction processes. Strong project management and site supervision skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
