Job Description

Academic Responsibilities



- Curriculum Delivery (IEB-aligned)

- Teach core subjects (English, Mathematics, Life Skills, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Creative Arts) according to IEB standards.

- Assessment & Reporting



- Conduct continuous assessment through projects, portfolios, and formal tasks.

- Prepare learners for IEB progression requirements.

- Provide detailed, qualitative feedback to parents and learners.

Learner Development



- Encourage independence, creativity, and collaboration.

- Support emotional and social growth alongside academics.

- Identify learning barriers and provide differentiated support.

Aftercare Responsibilities



- Supervise learners in after-school programs.

- Provide structured homework support and enrichment activities.

- Ensure safety, wellbeing, and positive social interaction during extended hours.

Computer Literacy



- Use digital platforms for lesson planning, record-keeping, and communication.

- Integrate technology into teaching (interactive apps, online resources, e-learning tools).

- Guide learners in basic digital literacy

- Communicate effectively with parents via email and WhatsApp.

Parent & Community Engagement



- Maintain open communication with parents about learner progress.

- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and share developmental feedback.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R10000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
