This role is responsible for driving on-site performance through strategic merchandising, SEO optimisation, and user experience improvements. You'll own the presentation and discoverability of products across the website, ensuring that customers can easily find, explore, and purchase products through a seamless digital journey. You will report to the
Group product and project manager of Silvertreebrands.
The ideal candidate combines data-driven decision-making with creative insight and understands how content, category design, and on-page structure contribute to conversions and brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Merchandising & Site Optimisation
Plan and execute on-site merchandising strategies aligned with commercial priorities, campaigns, and customer insights.
Optimise product placements, cross-sells, and upsells to drive basket size and conversion.
Manage category layouts, featured products, visual merchandising blocks and brand pages.
Optimise product displays and landing pages to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Analyse site analytics and customer journeys to recommend improvements.
Manage URL rewrites, tagging, and page hierarchies to ensure clean navigation.
2. SEO Strategy & Execution
Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO best practices (metadata, headings, schema, internal linking).
Regularly review product metadata and titles for accuracy and SEO relevance.
Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure SEO consistency across campaigns and blog content.
Monitor and report on site performance, rankings, and organic traffic growth.
Identify technical SEO issues (404s, redirects, URL structures) and work with the tech team to resolve them.
Optimise category and brand pages for both users and search engines.
3. UI/UX & Landing Page Experience
Work with designers and developers to create high-performing landing pages and improve overall site usability.
Optimise product and category page layouts for visual appeal, clarity, and conversion.
Use heatmaps, analytics, and user feedback to inform design and structure changes.
Ensure all updates reflect Faithful to Nature's brand tone, sustainability values, and accessibility standards.
Skills & Requirements
3-5 years' experience in e-commerce merchandising, SEO, or site optimization.
Solid understanding of SEO principles, tools (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs), and keyword strategy.
Experience with e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, or similar) and CMS management.
Experience with handling Google merchant centre, search console, posthog.
Familiarity with UI/UX principles and A/B testing tools.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
Beneficial skills: HTML or basic HTML experience and/or Basic SQL
Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus: experience in sustainability-focused or natural products industries.
