About you

Although you may appear as a pleasant person on the surface, the ugly truth is that you are a stickler for detail and you're probably more organised than a wedding planner. You also tend to have good judgment and an eye for creating a good bargain. Apart from your couch, your favourite place is the Warehouse, getting those hands dirty by sifting through products.

Salary

Responsibilities include:

• Perform various administrative jobs.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks such as following up on emails or calls and assisting the Clearance Sale Manager with tasks to be completed
• Ensure all departments have the necessary information to proceed with loading of clearance deals
• Put together clearance deals.
• Assist with stock counting and control
• Inspecting clearance items to be loaded.
• Maintaining and cultivating relationships with internal stakeholders
• Ensure products are loaded onto the backend accurately, with correct and relevant information.
• Help the Clearance Sale Manager monitor and track clearance items
• Present technical information in an easy-to-understand and exciting manner.
• Compile accurate spreadsheets and gather all required information before loading Clearance Sale deals
• Test and evaluate Clearance Sale products and understand quality requirements.
• Assist with any other ad hoc functions within the warehouse as required from time to time

Requirements / skills:

• Tertiary qualification (preferably Supply Chain/ Logistics / BCom degree) advantageous.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Good understanding of assessment of and the logistics process relating to the product.
• The ability to work independently and within a team.
• Sound analytical, organising, multitasking, interpersonal communication (verbal and written).
• Strong affiliation to systems, utilising them to increase productivity in line with the business strategy.
• Competency in all computer packages, i.e. Outlook, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Internet.
• Great attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem-solving.
• Ability to work under pressure and embrace feedback.
• You are a fast learner that finds it easy to adjust to a changing environment.
• Resilience is a value that you strongly align yourself with.
