Integration

:

Manage the integration of sale and returns on E-Commerce platform into Accounting systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and completeness. Collaborate cross-functionality with IT, Finance, and E-Commerce teams to ensure smooth and effective integration processes. Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive integration documentation tailored for Finance stakeholders. Proactively monitor system integration, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions to minimize disruptions. Ensure all integration activities comply with relevant financial regulations and internal control policies. Conduct thorough testing and validation of integration processes to ensure alignment with operational and financial requirements. Provide training and support to end-users on integrated systems, tools and processes.

Inventory Management

:

Monitor daily integration between the E-Commerce platform and accounting system to ensure stock levels are accurately updated based on sales and returns. Performing monthly stock reconciliations between inventory management system and accounting system, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and update the inventory management system.

Financial process

:

Ensuring timeously processing of all stock adjustments, transfers and GRV to maintain correct product costing in the system for integrated sales. Accurate processing of product returns, supported by all necessary documentation. Compile accurate and complete monthly stock valuation, sales reconciliation and payment platform reports for submission to finance department. Capturing of monthly invoicing received from E-Commerce related services providers and compilation of payment request documentation for review by Head of E-Commerce. Handle ad hoc requests and support to Line managers and internal stakeholders.

Standard operating processes

:

Review and update existing SOP's to ensure alignment with best practices and support accurate, complete and timely financial reporting

Education & Experience Requirements

Proven experience as an E-Commerce Accountant, Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role with strong understanding of inventory systems and controls. Industry experience in retail or distribution environments is highly advantageous. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail. Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suit (Excel, Word, Outlook)
