Working hours: Mon - Fri: 09h00 - 12h00


A lovely family is looking for an Au pair for their 2.5 years old



Area: Benmore Gardens, Sandton

Children's Ages: 2.5 years old - Boy

Current family situation: The family is preparing for a challenging but hopeful time: The mom is scheduled for a liver transplant, and the dad is hoping to be her living donor. This is a significant operation, and both of them will need care in the ICU. Should all go well, They anticipate returning home after about a week. During this period, and for the following 4 months, They are looking for a compassionate and skilled au pair to care for their son

Working hours: Mon - Fri: 09h00 - 12h00

School holiday hours: Same as above

Duties: Actively support childs development. Continue child's growth and potentially even get ahead of his developmental milestones (using age-appropriate stimulation/ activities)

Special Requirements: Female, someone warm, responsible, and proactive. Someone happy to take medical precautions at the home (similar to COVID-19 precautions). ECD/ teaching background. ADVANTAGEOUS - au pair from Europe, ideally Dutch-speaking, to help the boy maintain his language connection.

Start Date and contract term: 14th July - 30th November (possibility of extension dependent on family recovery process)

Salary: R10 000pm + SARS rates per km



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

*Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child-caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

*Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

*Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

*Must have a clear criminal record

*Must have a passion for children

*Must have Matric

*Must have a South African ID document.
