Job Summary Duty Manager - Luxury Lodge | Grahamstown, Eastern Cape Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and motivated Duty Manager to join a prestigious Luxury Lodge located in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. This is an exciting live-in opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong operational knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Duty Manager Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star lodge or hotel environment Strong understanding of lodge operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Professional appearance and demeanour Computer literate, with working knowledge of property management systems (experience with OPERA advantageous) Ability to manage, motivate, and mentor staff effectively Keen attention to detail and commitment to service excellence Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure Valid driver's licence and reliable transport Willingness to live on-site and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Duty Manager Responsibilities: Oversee daily lodge operations in the absence of senior management Ensure all departments are running efficiently and delivering exceptional guest experiences Handle guest queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally Supervise; support, and mentor staff to maintain high service standards Conduct inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure quality control Assist with administrative and reporting duties as required Uphold company policies, procedures, and brand standards at all times Package: Salary: R12,000 per month (negotiable depending on experience) Live-in accommodation Flexible working hours including weekends and public holidays To Apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, and qualifications today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
