Opportunity for a DTP/Finished Artist to join a branding and communications agency with a combination of considered strategic thinking, global trend knowledge and creative design, working with clients to define, create and market meaningful brands.

Wexe2x80x99re looking for a finished artist (expert technical designer) to join their team working on accounts from big brands to start-ups, national apparel and homeware retailers / lifestyle brands, and they have recently acquired a toy retailer account.

Being big believers in excellence and attention to detail when it comes to design and finished art, they're looking for the kind of experienced designer that works with precision and is highly organised. • Taking the creative through to finished print-ready artwork across all advertising collateral; e.g. magazine, brochures, flyers, posters, point of sale, packaging, vinyl as well as digital elements (emailers, social media and web).
• Create or finish artwork.
• Working closely with the creative leads and designers to execute print- and digital post- ready artwork to precision and of an excellent standard.
• Retouch and colour correct images; both models and stills as required.

Requirements

• 5 or more yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar environment.
• Relevant degree or diploma qualification.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience in desktop publishing / page layout in Indesign.
• Understand requirements of printing and pre-press and digital.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in all forms of print and digital media design.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Attention to detail with an eye for great design.
• Ability to prioritise and organise workload within tight deadlines, using problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with great attitude and agility.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to express oneself efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to follow instruction/execute changes willingly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure, team-driven environment.
