We are looking for a skilled Prepress Operator to join our team and ensure the seamless preparation of files and materials for printing and production.

As a Prepress Operator, you will play a critical role in the printing process by ensuring that all digital files are correctly formatted, proofed, and ready for production.

Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our printing operations. In this role, you will work closely with designers, clients, and production teams to ensure that all materials meet the required specifications and standards.

You will be responsible for reviewing and troubleshooting files, making necessary adjustments, and preparing them for various printing methods, including offset, digital, and large-format printing.

Additionally, you will operate prepress equipment and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw, RIP software, and a plate-making machine, to ensure optimal results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, lithographic printing technology, or a related field, along with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review digital files for printing and production. Ensure all files meet technical specifications and quality standards. Perform color corrections, image adjustments, and file troubleshooting. Collaborate with designers, clients, and production teams to resolve file issues. Imposition files for print production Operate prepress equipment and software, including RIP software. Maintain and calibrate prepress equipment to ensure optimal performance. Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in printing technology.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Prepress Operator or in a similar role. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDraw and other prepress software. Strong understanding of printing processes, including offset and digital printing. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of color theory and image editing techniques. Familiarity with RIP software and plate-making processes. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
