Job Purpose

The DTF / UV Printing Operator is responsible for producing high-quality prints by managing the full printing process, from design preparation to machine operation and final output. This role ensures accurate file setup, colour consistency, and smooth machine performance, while maintaining efficiency and meeting production deadlines.

Headwear24 is seeking a skilled and detail oriented DTF / UV Printing Operator with proven expertise in design, RIP software, and machine operations. The successful candidate will operate and maintain DTF and UV printing machines, prepare print files, and ensure output meets quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor DTF and UV printing machines to ensure accurate and high-quality output. Prepare and manage print files using RIP software, ensuring proper colour management and file setup. Work with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW to prepare artwork for production. Calibrate, clean, and maintain machines to ensure consistent performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve print quality issues in a timely manner. Manage print queues, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines. Uphold high standards of quality control and attention to detail throughout the printing process.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience operating DTF and UV printing machines. Proficiency in RIP software for file preparation and colour management. Strong knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW). Practical experience in machine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ability to manage multiple print jobs under time-sensitive conditions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
