Job Title: Driver - Light Duty



Location: CPT Parts - Hub



Department: Transportation



Reports To: Transportation Manager



Position Overview:



We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our transportation team as a Light Duty Driver. The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to various locations within the designated area. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.



Key Responsibilities:



Safely operate light duty vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and personnel to various locations Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to transportation activities Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate transportation activities Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times


Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a light duty capacity Knowledge of local transportation routes and traffic laws Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and follow directions Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects as needed


Physical Requirements:



Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) Ability to withstand exposure to various weather conditions
