Location:
ILTBRU - Jose Pearson TB Hospital, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)
Key performance areas:
Ensure that Patient demographic information is correct and up to date in patient files
Obtain DOT supporter and next of KIN contact details
Call patients and or DOT supporters where patients have missed clinic visits
Complete home visits if patients or DOT supporters cannot be contacted via telephone
Collect patients from residence and transport to the hospital as required and approved by the CLO
Transport patients from the hospital to residence as required and approved by the CLO
Complete general driving requirements for the site as and when required and authorized by management
Maintain study documentation according to monitoring requirements
General office administration
Complete the vehicle logbook before and after each trip
Complete the vehicle checklist before and after each trip
Complete vehicle control register on a daily basis
Ensure that the vehicle is clean and in a roadworthy condition at all times
Monitor mileage intervals and advise the admin manager according to service intervals
Ensure company vehicles are parked in the main security area over the weekend and holiday periods
Ensure adherence to the vehicle policy, driver policy, and road law enforcement regulations
Take ownership and accountability for tasks and demonstrate effective self-management
Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained
Maintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedback
Take ownership of driving your own career development by participating in ongoing training and development activities such as forums, conferences, policy-setting workshops, etc.
Required minimum education and training:
Grade 12
Drivers' License
PDP
Required minimum work experience and abilities:
2-3 years of relevant experience
Desirable additional education, work experience, and personal abilities:
Excellent attention to detail skills
Good administrative skills are required together with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database packages
Able to work to deadlines
Confidentiality, tact, and discretion must be maintained at all times
Sound interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
