Job Summary Description:
Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company in Gauteng, is currently looking for an experienced Drill and Blast Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities:

Take an active role in promoting a safe and healthy work environment by following all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and operational guidelines.

Lead by example to support safety initiatives and foster a strong safety culture within the team.

Plan and carry out regular inspections to monitor safe work practices and overall operational performance, addressing any issues that arise promptly.

Ensure effective team management by clearly outlining responsibilities and skill requirements, while supporting consistent and efficient team performance

Requirements:

Grade 12
Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineer or related.
Blasting Ticket/Rockbreaking Certificate for scheduled mines.
5 years' experience in underground mechanized mining
Extensive experience on Longhole stoping or similar bulk production drilling and charge-up operations.
Valid Driver's License
