Job Description
Are you passionate about driving as well as delivering excellent customer service? We are looking for an experienced Code EC1 or EC driver that can multi task. We require someone that is Physically fit and able to lift and move around heavy Clinic Equipment.
A permanent vacancy exists for Donor Attendant / Driver Donor Division - Worcester (Grade B3)
Purpose of the Job
To maintain an effective flow of the blood donor clinic by:
- Assisting in carrying clinic equipment to and from venues
- Assisting with the assembly of the clinic.
- Interacting with the donors.
- Preparing the donor for donation.
- Monitoring the donor during the donation.
- Ending the bleeding process
- Dealing with adverse reactions
- Transport staff and equipment safely to and from clinics
- Well spoken, well groomed with good communication skills
- Possess excellent customer service skills and able to deal with the public
- Accuracy in data collection and attention to detail
- Have a friendly disposition and a willingness to xe2x80x9cgo the extra milexe2x80x9d
- Ability to work as part of a team is essential
- Previous experience in a customer service environment is required
- Matric Certificate
- A Code EC1 or EC driverxe2x80x99s licence without endorsements and a valid PrDP with 3 years Driving experience
- Must reside in the Worcester area or willing to relocate
- Computer Skills (Course is advantageous)
- The working hours are variable and shift work is required with some weekend work and call-outs.
- First Aid qualification (Advantageous)
- Must have reliable transport.
