The position will report to the Services Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be based in Radjespark, Midrand.Purpose of the JobTo develop and continuously update the technical documentation in a project with quality assurance that includes 3D models, on-train validations, supplier product validations.Minimum Requirements:BSc/B.Eng. Degree (in Mechanical or Electronics or Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering) with 3 years working experience in the rail industryRegistered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist with ECSAKnowledge of rolling stock maintenanceKnowledge of Reliability, Accessibility and Maintainability AspectsWorking knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessmentsProficient in the use of MS Office, SAP (System Analysis Program)/GSI (Global Simple Instance)Problem Solving capacity (Technical and cost evaluation of a solution)Capacity of managing Technical RisksSolid decision making and critical thinking Behavioural:Self-motivated, attention to detail, ability to work independently, desire to learn, effective, professional interpersonal skills, strong team player, accountable and able to drive deliverables, people management.Main Responsibilities:Definition of the maintenance Documentation maintenance PLAN.The QCD of the maintenance Documentation Project.Production of the Maintenance Documentation with respect of objective defined in the Documentation management PLAN or ISR Management PLAN.Management of the Technical Authoring team in charge of the production of the maintenance documentation.Capitalization of data and all input related to the maintenance Documentation in central ISR repository (ILS PDM)Define the ISR Documentation management PLAN with respect of objective defined in the ISR Management PLANManage the maintenance documentation team involved in the production of the maintenance Documentation.Manage the workload and size the team accordingly.Define and implement organization and key processes, to provide the best quality of the documentation which must be delivered withrespect to QCD (Quality Cost and Delivery) targets and ISR Management PLAN objective.Ensure that Maintenance Documentation is published using Alstom standard Method &Tools standard (Electronic Catalogue)Assures efficient parts codification in line with Platform rules: materials identification, codification process, interfaces with Alstom systems, quality and normative requirements.Manage Partner involved in authoring activities.Ensure REX (Return of Experience) is collected and considered for reuse purpose.Manage Definition of Documentation Breakdown Structure in consistency with the Logistic Breakdown Structure.Manage relationship with LSA Manager for production of maintenance documentation on element candidate to maintenance activities.Ensure Documentation database (ILS PDM) is defined and completed correctlyPromote usage of standard ISR practice compliant with international standard or Alstom central procedure and Method & ToolCapitalize data to improve QCD on future project.Closing Date : 14 August 2023 Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrowxe2x80x99s mobility.
