We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering District Manager to oversee operations across a portfolio of catering sites. Duties & Responsibilities Provide operational leadership across multiple catering locations, ensuring consistent service excellence. Drive financial performance by managing budgets, forecasting, controlling costs, and identifying growth opportunities. Lead, motivate, and develop site managers and catering teams to achieve KPIs and maintain high morale. Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and identifying areas to enhance service delivery. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene standards. Support new business proposals, mobilisations, and strategic initiatives within the district. Monitor customer feedback and implement continuous improvements.
Skills and Competencies Has proven multi-site management experience within catering, hospitality, or food services. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and people development skills. Has solid financial acumen and experience managing P&L. Thrives under pressure and adapts quickly to changing operational needs. Is highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused. Holds a full driving licence (role requires travel between sites).
Qualifications

  • Matric
  • National Diploma in Hospitality Management/ relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Minimum of 4 years management experience in a similar role
  • Multiple unit operations experience
  • My Market & Menutec experience advantageous
  • Drivers licence & own vehicle
