Job Summary Fedics Is Hiring: District Manager - Catering (Western Cape) Fedics; a leading name in contract catering, is seeking a passionate and experienced District Manager to oversee catering operations across multiple retirement villages in the Western Cape . Key Responsibilities Lead and manage catering operations across assigned retirement village sites Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to senior dietary needs Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, HR policies, and food service standards Coordinate vetting, fit-for-purpose interviews, and cook-offs to ensure staffing excellence Implement and monitor menus that accommodate special dietary requirements including diabetic, low-sodium, gluten-free, and allergen-sensitive options Collaborate with village management and healthcare professionals to align food services with resident wellness goals Manage budgets, supplier relationships, and operational efficiencies across sites Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in multi-site catering management, preferably in senior living or healthcare environments Proven leadership and team development skills Strong understanding of compliance, food safety, and special dietary needs for older adults Experience in coordinating cook-offs and talent assessments Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Western Cape Why Join Fedics?
