Distribution Supervisor

R30 000 p/m (neg, plus medical aid & pension)
Purpose of the position: Lead a high-performing distribution team and drive OTIF deliveries in a fast-paced logistics & manufacturing environment. We are seeking an experienced Distribution Supervisor to oversee the delivery of finished goods to local and export customers, ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance. The role covers fleet management, route planning, cost control, compliance, reporting, and staff supervision to support business and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily distribution operations and ensure OTIF deliveries.
Manage fleet maintenance, compliance, and cost efficiency.
Optimize routes, truck capacity, and fuel consumption.
Maintain POD accuracy, waybill control, and courier systems.
Lead and develop staff; provide cover for Distribution Manager.
Ensure stock accuracy, dispatch compliance, and support audits.
Prepare and submit operational and performance reports.
Requirements:
Matric (Logistics/Supply Chain qualification an advantage).
3-6 years' experience in logistics/distribution, preferably in manufacturing or a multinational environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse, dispatch, and transport processes.
Skilled in fleet and route planning systems, compliance, and reporting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
