The purpose of this role is to manage finished goods stock in laminates, coordinate with the logistics service provider, and ensure on-time deliveries. This role also closes the loop between planned production and actual output by verifying that stock and production orders in SAP reflect what was physically produced.
Main Objectives
Ensure
finished goods stock accuracy
by verifying regular stock takes, reconciling planned vs. actual production, and conducting visual inspections of stock.
Ensure
efficient deliveries
by coordinating between CSC, fleet managers, and production planning to meet customer demand.
Coordinate production planning and CSC activities
using SAP reports and physical stock counts to align stock levels with customer and operational requirements.
Promote
good housekeeping
by working with cleaning teams, waste management providers, and driving 5S principles through team leaders to maintain a world-class manufacturing site.
Critical Job RequirementsQualifications
Grade 12 (Matric)
Industrial Engineering graduate with Logistics experience;
OR
Diploma in Production Management and/or Logistics
Knowledge
Strong understanding of relevant legislation: SHERQ, BCEA, LRA
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
