Master Scheduling South Africa
Join our MED Master Scheduling team as a Dispatcher, where you'll help optimize service maintenance for wind turbines. We're looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who performs well under shifting priorities. Responsibilities

• Optimize maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance productivity
• Manage daily and short-term crew assignments based on demand, skills, weather, and priorities
• Ensure availability of tools, parts, and services before deployment
• Align planning with service contracts and customer expectations
• Communicate effectively with crews and stakeholders
• Track and balance planning KPIs
• Prepare 52-week and 3-week service plans
• Bundle and streamline work orders
• Confirm material and skill readiness
• Create purchase requests as needed
• Support continuous improvement initiatives
• Review completed work weekly

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, degree, or relevant tertiary qualification is valued
• Experience in technical roles, mainly in the wind industry or with wind turbines
• Proficient in planning techniques or project management methodologies
• Effective planning, prioritization, and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret numerical data and identify trends
• Familiarity with organizational systems and processes
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP and Salesforce is valued

Competencies

• Robust knowledge of technical and planning frameworks
• Process-oriented with proficient problem-solving skills
• Experienced in managing transitions smoothly in environments with changing priorities
• Effective time management and experience in demanding circumstances
• Clear, effective communicator and collaborative partner
• Highly organized with effective safety awareness
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with SAP and Salesforce

Additional information
This is a hybrid position based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and requires up to 5% travel annually (for training purposes).
