Job Description
A well established and reputable company based in Atlantis is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch Assistant to support their logistics and dispatch team. The successful candidate will assist with the preparation, coordination, and delivery of windows, doors, and related products to customers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Assist with planning and scheduling of deliveries for windows, doors, and accessories
Prepare dispatch documentation, including delivery notes and invoices
Ensure all products are correctly packaged, labelled, and loaded for dispatch
Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate dispatch activities
Monitor inventory and report shortages or damages
Maintain accurate dispatch and delivery records
Support with general warehouse duties as required
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehousing (experience in windows and doors industry will be an advantage)
Basic computer literacy (MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & any Dispatch System
Physically fit and able to handle products safely
2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role
Skills:
Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans & English
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
Good communication and teamwork abilities
