On behalf of a well-established player in the FMCG value chain, we are conducting a confidential search for a senior executive leader to take full strategic and operational ownership of sales, marketing, and logistics.
This role is designed for a commercially astute leader with strong supply chain and logistics expertise, and a proven ability to scale revenue, optimise operations, and lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Honours Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or similar
• MBA or equivalent highly advantageous
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles across sales, marketing, and/or logistics
• Proven experience within the South African poultry and/or animal feed industry
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, cold chain logistics, and food safety
• Demonstrated success in revenue growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency
• Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making capability

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Lead integrated sales, marketing, and logistics strategies aligned to business growth goals
• Drive market expansion, pricing strategy, and product portfolio optimisation
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain performance, including distribution, forecasting, and inventory
• Deep working knowledge of poultry production systems, nutrition, processing, and value chain dynamics
• Experience navigating local regulations, export markets, and international trade compliance
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and profitability management
• Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead senior teams across multiple functions
• Comfortable operating at Board / Exco level, including fiduciary responsibility
