Accommodation: Not Provided Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a talented and passionate Dim Sum Chef to join an upscale Asian-inspired restaurant in St Francis. This is a hands-on role for a culinary professional who thrives in creating authentic; beautifully presented Dim Sum and Asian dishes ; ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities: Prepare; cook, and present high-quality Dim Sum and other Asian menu items consistently Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment Source and manage ingredients to ensure freshness and authenticity Monitor kitchen stock, order supplies, and control food costs Collaborate with management to maintain menu standards and innovate new dishes Ensure adherence to health, hygiene, and safety standards Lead; train, and mentor junior kitchen staff if applicable Requirements: Proven experience as a Dim Sum Chef or in Asian cuisine in a professional kitchen Strong understanding of traditional and contemporary Dim Sum preparation Creative flair and attention to detail in presentation Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Knowledge of kitchen health, hygiene, and safety regulations Team player with leadership or mentoring experience preferred Package & Benefits: Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience Opportunity to work in a highly regarded, authentic Asian-inspired restaurant Professional; growth-oriented kitchen environment
